Load and conform the hair, then Figure>Copy Joints From (choose V4WM for the popup).
Thanks! That did it!

Quote - I'm not the creator of it, but here is the *.pz2 hborre mentioned.
Quite the usfull little helper, the file =)
(the .txt file extention needs to be removed)
Now that's an interesting little utility! It works brilliantly! But how does it work? I see that I have a new default file to use when I use WM figures.

I wrote the pose file in question during V4~WM developement.
I actually wrote a few more, but updates to Poser have made them uneeded now.
All it basically does is replace the joint centers and add a few channels. None of the weight mapping information goes into it with that pose file.
Using "Copy joints zones from" adds weight map data, and every additional channel that it finds in the donor. Doing so will really mess things up, and bloat the cr2 if resaved to the library.
Copy joint zones from will also make nasty seams in the hair depending on how far away from the surface, and the number of groups it has, and crosses, on V4.
That version will also work with hats, necklaces, ear rings, and some clothing, that is rigged. It contains more channel information than hair really needs just for that purpose. It will not add bones to the rig, you have to use Outfitter to do that.
There is also info posted in the threads on how to fix the toe joint zone in shoes converted with Outfitter. If you are having problems converting shoes, and you will run onto it, look into the info I posted on that as well.
Some things are easy to explain, other things are not........ <- Store -> <-Freebies->
