How long can a blog post be? 

I was just about to go through the 55 pages of freebie Japanese links thread, and figure I'll go ahead and post the working links, so someone can quick reference in the future, at least until page 55.

...but not sure how long a Blog post could be.

I would make it a forum post, but those turn "uneditable" quickly, (thus there are threads of 55 pages of dead/live links to sort) and this may take a few days to get through, depending on time.

***Also, do Blog posts also become uneditable?  First time using the blog

You are allowed 65,000 characters which includes spaces, puncuation, and letters.

If you go beyond this amount, you will not get an error message, it will just cut off so to be on the safe side, I would stop around 64,000and if you still had more to write, continue on another blog.

Also, you can edit your blog 6 years from know if you choose by hitting the "edit" link under your post.
