Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 22 9:27 pm)
V4 and Genesis are two different things, with different rigging and poly counts. You can't apply V4 morph injections to genesis, though you apply poses somewhat and tweak them. Some Gen3 poses work a little better than Gen4.
You would need a tool named GenerationX (sold at DAZ) to convert V4 morphs to Genesis.
Yeah, of you apply a morph via a pose INJ, the dial will appear.
But the actual morph won't be compatible with Genesis, so won't work.
You need to use the GenerationX plugin, and DS4.5, to copy any morphs.
A fair number of the V4 and M4 character morphs I have fortunately came with Genesis versions, e.g. Adamthwaites and Phoenix1966 characters, so I will be able to use those more directly. Maybe some other character morph product makers will issue updates now?
there is a software by dimension at DAZ called genesis X which can convert your old morphed V4 to your genesis V4 if you like.
Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

I have a problem... you will see: after loading the figure of Genesis is using the new DSon Poser, apply you the moph for V4 and then I try to apply some other morph of the character (for example: an expression), and although the new dials appear, figure does not take that expression and ignores changes in the dials. Does anyone know what happens?
Thank you.
