Subject: What do you suggest about this?

I have created a scene in poser. It is a road with houses and vehicles. In this scene i want to make this road to be near the sea.So i want to create the rocks and the sea somehow and add them in my poser scene. So i m looking for a software which can do that.I m sure that you have vue on mind and you were ready to suggest that to me.However for my reasons i want to import the scene with rocks and the sea in poser and not the reversal.Vue can only create the scene i want to have and then import the first scene with the road etc.So i was wondering if you could help me.Is there a way to do what i want using vue or there is another software i could use??

Thanks

i would think that any software could create the obj models that you can import, position ,texture and then resave as a poser file, or am i missing the point here? The rocks could be created by any of the free 3d apps, hexagon, wings etc spring to mind, if you are talking of animated water then thats another realm altogether, but a simple morphed plane with a decent texture map should solve a static water scene. carrara for example can produce a decent enough water scene that you can export as an obj file and then add the textures in poser..........

Vue would be much faster and easier.

Your need to model, map, texture a mesh.

The fastest App is zBrush.

Blender is free but slow.

I use C4D,zBrush.

All have a learning curve way past Poser or Vue.

I'm gonna go out on the plank and suggest a very simple solution:

Bryce 7 Pro (still free for now and has a bridge to DAZStudio, but you can easily export the scene as .obj's and import them into Poser, then you can also use procedual material shaders on the water [[see link]]. Procedual textures for the sand are doable too [[see link]]... but that may not be nessessary because if you apply a Bryce material you can export the image map along with the .obj)

BRYCE 7 PRO:

Hope this helps a little. :)
