Subject: Genesis - can it be used in Carrara?

Just wondering, is this currently possible including weight mapping?  Has anyone tried it?  Carrara seems stuck on beta 8.5, which I haven't installed since 8 works fine for me and I'm waiting for an actual 8.5 release (rather than beta).

I thought use of Genesis was part of the 8.5 deliverable, but it seems to be stretching on forever.  Does anyone know the status?

Any info appreciated.

Genesis works with the 8.5 beyta, still in development.

The beta is installed separately so you can run genesis stuff on the beta and your other stuff on the 8.1. There are many other improvements in the beta though.
