Subject: Rigged a character and It doesn't show up in poser?!?
Did you make sure that the bone names, both of them, are exactly the same as the group names you assigned?
Other than that, I can't think of why it dissappeared.
PhilC has some excellent video tutorials on rigging..

Yes I'm pretty sure everything was named correctly, but I will open the file in edit pad and check again, Thanks.

Well I closed poser out, and opened the figure up in poser 8 and it loaded, so then I opened P9 back up and now the figure loads, so either opening it in P8 or Closing P9 and reloading worked, so now I just have to work on the joint zones :) Thanks!

Thanks :) Not rigging all the individual sections lol this is my first try so it is going to be a simple rig. I am starting over as I wanted to regroup some sections. His eyes are just props that will be parented, as I have no clue how to rig the eyes :)

I made a toon bug for poser, saved him as a prop. Then I decided to make him into a figure, so I took him into UVMapper, assigned groups, resaved him with a new name, and loaded him into poser. I went into the setup room and added all the bones, ( I have never rigged a figure before so that's a whole new topic! lol) Then I went back into the pose room, saved him to the library, so I could mess with the joint zones later, but when I went back to work with him some more, I clicked on the icon to load him, and it says he's there, but the little bugger is invisible! lol I don't see him at all, but it says he's there, so what did I do wrong?
