Hi All

I have a problem with some of the props from Cheirocrates (daz) rendering correctly in vue10 Esprit.  I have imported them from a poser scene.

I have ended up with a lot of the mats showing black marks, it also happens on the lights but managed to hide that by changing the colour to black, however I cant do that on the other items as its supposed to be stone.

I have shown a preview of renders in poser which is clean and also in vue with the marks. In poser I had to turn off the smooth polygon as it burst all over the place, has that got something to do with it.

I have tried several atmospheres with out the AO as thought it might be that but it doesn't go :(

Any ideas how to get rid of it.

Using poserpro2012, vue10 esprit

Try inverting the normals if you have that option in Esprit 😄

You'll find it in the 'edit object' window

Thanks for the reply Gill, I just tried that and it didnt change it, however I noticed the  same box had a 'smooth polygon' checkbox and by unchecking it the marks vanished  :)

Yes, of course.  I forgot that sometimes has to be done on Poser imports.   Good you figured it out :)
