One of the scripts which my script is based [Thanks Structure! http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?user_id=36038 ] one which removed all of the AO material nodes from a selected library folder. When you have a runtime as large as mine what you really don't need to do is add additional folders and gigabytes of textures... so it's easier to remove the AO in the current scene. Other thanks are due to SVDL whose "texture filter" script gave me the idea to remove the nodes from scene file.
I've tested this script in a limited way and it does seem to remove the AO nodes but would appreciate any feed back you might have
The script is attached as a text file. Remove the .txt. extension and then put it where it needs to go.
I want to get "beta test" before I post it to freebies...
