Subject: Reverse a dial?

I have a dial which has to be turned from 0 to -1 to fold a bodypart. Since that's a bit counter-intuitive, I want to reverse the dial so it goes from 0 to 1.

I know I've done it before but I can't remember how I did it (that happens a lot these days). I may have used Easypose Underground but it's not currently installed so I was wondering if there's a simple way to do it in PP2012?

If it is a morph you can set the dial to -1, spawn a new morph, then zero the original and use the new.

You can add another dial and link the two using ERC code with a negative add delta.

Or possibly more simply rename the dial to something like fold-unfold which will give the hint that the dial should/could be moved in either direction.

I usually set limits and Name the dial as Down/Up  to show which way the dial works.

I've just done some poking around and it seems that is how I did it previously. Sometimes I amaze myself.

I think that this time simply renaming the dial will do the trick. I might go one further and re-import the part in its other position (up instead of down - it's a simple hinged flap thing) so the dial makes more sense - turning it down makes the thing go down and vice versa.

If you want to play see if changing tracking scale to a negative value has any affect.
