Subject: Option to turn off 'Content Advisory' censorship?

Katabug ( ) posted Tue, 19 February 2013 at 8:42 AM · edited Sat, 11 January 2025 at 11:54 AM

Hi all, I'm new around here and I have a little bit of a request to make.

When browsing the site, there is one thing that is really starting to annoy me, and that's seeing images replaced with a 'Content Advisory' warning, for what I presume is considered 'adult' content.

As an adult and an artist, I have no problems at all with nudity or sexuality, so I'm wondering if there is an option somewhere that will stop the site censoring this content for me?

I've looked through my account settings, but I couldn't find anything. Did I miss something?

those Thumnails are placed by hand by the poster of the image..

So its not a system censure thats placing them..

AKA there is no other thumbnail for you to see..

These Blue thumnails are the result of the TOS here at renderosity

Adult content is censored by the poster selecting ADULT CONTENT etc.

The jpg, thumbnail that you see is then generated by the site.

Adult content must not be displayed within the jpg image under the TOS of Renderosity,

There is no function Available to turn off.

Drat! I'll just have to learn to live with it I guess.

But I have to admit, I'm a little bit surprised that an artistic site won't allow nudity. Especially a site that deals with human figures. Ah well.

Thanks for the replies.

The jpg thumbnail image need's to be clicked on to see the actual image that has been posted.

The adult content jpg is simply a warning to those offended etc it does not mean that the image has been removed-Just click on it as i said to view image-clicking on any image opens up a larger image.

Very welcome-remember when opening an image-you can then zoom on it also...
