  • What is V5?
  • Are V5 and Genesis interchangeable?

I always go where the knowledge is...that's why I come here with my questions.

V5 is simply a shape of Genesis (morphs, a new UV map and textures), nothing more, nothing less.

If you know the previous version, Generation 4, it's like Stephanie 4 or Aiko 4 for Victoria 4 and Hiro 4 or the Freak 4 for Michael 4, the new male countepart is M5.

Ah..so any characters advertised as V5 are actually Genesis?

In the Renderosity market you can find a version for the previous Gen. 4, not every character has both, but most.

I say this if you are interested in a charactes and you don't have Genesis.

I've got Genesis, at least the version that comes free with DAZ Studio 4.5 Pro.  Guess I'll start looking for goodies for V5 to add to my character collection.  Thanks!
