Whoops. But what is an "N" flag? Off-topic?

"N" Flag = "Nudity" Content Advisory.
(it's the little square check box below "Content Advisories")
Your flip book looks nicely done but needs the "N" Flag for it's content so that someone doesn't get blind-sided if they click the link.
Ok? ... Ok.

Mea culpa. I forget how nudity can be an issue...I'll remember next time!

Gorgeous illustrations. With the growing popularity of ereaders and tablets I imagine ther's a lot of potential for such things. Hopefully, there is a way to download and view them on an old fashioned PC. I think the 'Anomaly' thread is into something generally similar. Lots of possibilities to meld games, film and literature into new forms of storytelling.

Hi Imckenzie...thanks for your comments, and the link to the Anomaly thread--somehow I'd missed that...If I embed a video into the flipbook page, it plays whatever sound is in the video, but I see that I can also embed sound into the flipbook itself. Ambient noises, narration, anything, either for a specific page or for the whole book, apparently. I'll be experimenting with these things.
I made some quick flipbooks for several of the wraith-characters in my Evidence movie--

--Chamelia, Enoja, couple others. But I used images and video that I already had, and I really need to set another up from scratch. And, although you can navigate to a web page and see these flipbooks on your Kindle Fire or iPad--they seem to work all right--I also would like to put them in the Kindle Store and the iPad store, but I dont see that this is possible. That would be nice, to do a long, complex flip book, even an entire novel, and post it for sale...
Well, more to learn and play with...

I've mostly been using Poser to make animations, for my movie project. But the last week or so I've been creating illustrations for one of my short stories, "Kali"--turning it into an e-book at Amazon. I got a kick out of this, so I started experimenting with Flipbooks. You know, those immitation magazines that flap their pages across your computer screen. I added the illustrations, bits of text, and made a kind of teaser for the story, which I posted on my website--
http://dnstuefloten.com/stories/kali/kali.html
Now, this is just a teaser, not the story itself, but I figure why stop there? Isnt this a perfect mechanism for showing off Poser-built stories? The pages can show video too, so snippets of Poser animations would fit along with the still images. I've started putting other bits together too, for my Evidence website (the characters will all have their own flipbooks eventually, I think). Is this interesting? Has anyone else here been fooling around with these flipbooks?
