Subject: How about a general forum for the wider discussion of Art theory and practice?

I'm thinking of elements of art philosophy and art news even which are independent of the nitty gritty or technicalities of specific software or specific media. Would also be useful for comments on the wider art world (e.g. painting prices at auction, the role of galleries and museums etc... etc....)

Must admit I don't know how often I'd post there, but it seems like the kind of thing members might want to discuss. I just had one comment looking for a home recently that would have gone into that kind of forum and I ended up posting it somewhat off topic into the Arts and Crafts forum...

We use to have an actual Art Theory forum, but it was never used hardly so we decided to discontinue it.
