Quote - That weather stuff sounds really cool.
I won't be able to download this update until tonight, but I can't wait!
The weather is not new. That was introduced with Vue 11. The new 11.5 features can be found at this link: http://www.e-onsoftware.com//products/vue/vue_11.5_infinite//?page=1#New_in_11.5
This release focuses on user interface changes. I have played with it for a bit and there are some nice workflow improvements. I especially like the additions to the render stack with the option to restore cameras from previous renders and the option to merge partial renders into a previous complete render. That is really great for small changes, can save massive amounts of time and a trip to PS.

The new update procedure was flawless, You simple download a standard update (300Mb) and Activate with new Serial number; and you have Vue11.5.

The heavy material handling features may not be "sexy" but it makes my starmap script workable. With each star having its own material it could really hurt Vue's performance. Last night I created a model with all the stars within 30 parsecs of the sun and Vue didn't show any sign of not being able to handle a lot more. Thats more than 3000 objects (which wasn't a problem before) and 3000 materials (which was in the past). Now its usable I'll look at improving the script and then posting some of the models for download.
