Low Poly Houses. 3D models that look good from medium to long range distances with such low memory usage that you can literally fit thousands of them into a single scene.

Here is my demo reel for my low poly houses as used in Episode 7 and Episode 8 of Sci Fi Funk - the animated series. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwJAZ_WBsM8)

The models range from just 20k each up to 90k each. The largest and most complex looking are only 48k each.

These 3D Models were made in Carrara. I built them up from components such as Windows and Doors. The houses themselves are empty inside and the vast majority of the detail is reserved for the front of the house.

This is to save on space which is paramount if you are trying to re-create the East End of London as I have in this animation.
