Most (if not all) of these features in HitFilm can be done in AE (with plug-ins such as Elements 3D, Particular, Mocha and AE's built-in camer tracker), but HitFilm definatly sounds like a great deal.
Now with Adobe going strictly subscription pricing, this could be a good viable alternative to AE users.

Just a heads up that HitFilm 2 is coming to Mac (PC people you can also get the discount). They did their kickstarter for the Mac version and it is Funded. They are doing some stretch bonuses now.
But if you arn't needing it right now you can buy in on the Kickstarter and get it for a huge discount.

It supports 3d camera's and 3d objects directly imported in now as well. I am not sure if there is a way of exporting camera moves from Carrara but hitfilm supports .ma I believe to add the same data through the workflow.
It is a special effects / compositing and now video editor.
