Sorry about not directly answering your question, but I've been following this tutorial:

...with reasonably good results.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie in Blender, just wanted to try to rig my model which I made in wings3d. I was looking for some tutorials on the internet, and found some pretty useful ones, but those are a bit outdated, since it is a totally new interface for me, it is even hard to get the logic, how it is working, what is where...
Anyways, I just have completed the upper body skeleton more or less and went to pose mode to see how is it working. The I faced the following problems... Parenting seems to be alright, but not the FK and not even the IK looks like working well. If any bone I move, one side starts to resize and move in weird angles, the other... let me show it on this screenshot:
Well, could someone please explain me what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!
