if you use the numerical input... Render -> dimensions. As a rule it keeps the ratio, you have to uncheck the box to use another aspect ratio

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
I don't think you can. IF you find a way, please let me know, it would be a nice feature :)

Hi
I've been messing around with this.
I'm pretty sure you can't change the window size after you import the video.
I'm not sure that I've got this right but it appears that what you need to do it create a window the size you want to work in before importing the video.
When it asks you if you want to resize the window to fit say no and it resizes the video or image to fit the window, my 1920 by 1080 video fit in my 1280 by 720 window with no messing around.
At least it did for the project I'm working on right now.
When I tried to change the window size after importing the video it didn't work.
I don't know why I didn't figure that out before.
I don't think that it always did work this way, but maybe it just took me years to figure it out.
It seems to me that I always had problems getting the video to fit the preview window.
I import the video at whatever I'm going to export the file, usually 1920 by 1080.
It would really be nice if they could make the Windows scale along with everything in it.
I'm going to have to look at getting a second monitor just for the pallets so I can use the main screen for the preview, I just don't like working in a small window.
Is anyone here doing that, and do you have any advice, my video card does support multiple monitors, but I've never done that.
Right now it shares with my HD TV. I guess I could use that to experiment. Didn't think of that either, I am getting old. LOL

Hi
I don't know why I haven't asked this a long time ago.
I work with pretty big output, 1600 by 900 or 1920 by 1980.
When I import background images the window is often too large to work on easily.
So I grab the corner and make is smaller, it works fine everything scales and stays in the correct relationship except the window itself.
The problem is that holding the shift key doesn't work for keeping the window proportional and I have to spend a lot of time dragging the edges of the window to get it back to size, so it fits the image.
Is there a way to drag the window and keep it in proportion?
