Hello all. I am looking for textures similar to the pic above for pretty much any poser model. Is there anything like that out there, either for free or for sale?

Thanks in advance.

The texture templates that most poser models come with can be used to this end. If you're looking for something simpler, like those in Manga Studio, you'd have to make it but I doubt it'd be that difficult if you have a texture template for the model anyway.

If you have a program that can paint directly on the mesh, the situation becomes even easier.

What Poser model would be the best for simulating a drawing doll, like the ones in Manga Studio?

The simplicity of the basic Manga Studio figures would probably be best met by the game res figures in Poser Pro  (under Figures>Additional>Poser Pro) or the Mannequins or the Stick Figures in both Poser and Poser Pro.

The mannequins and stick figures were designed to be drawing aides. Andy and Andrea are designed based on  the Andy Loomis guides to drawing.

Thanks for the info. Also, which model is that human male at the end of the lineup in your pic?

That said, any Poser figure can be used as a drawing aide. If it's about having a reference, depending on your drawing ability you may want something more detailed like Rex and Roxy or James and Jessi.  Just putting that out there.

That would be the Poser Pro male figure. The pic illustrates each of the figures I mentioned in that post. The Stick figure, Andy, and The Poser Pro characters.  All can be found in the Additional Figures library.
