Subject: Any pointers getting Genesis and the Cloth Room to work

cliss ( ) posted Tue, 26 November 2013 at 3:52 AM · edited Sat, 26 October 2024 at 3:20 PM

I am not sure if I am just being a numpty or has any one else found that even with sub div off genesis figures grind the  simulation of dynamic clothing down to nothing . 2 hours on a 30 frame simulation and the simulation only reached frame 6

same piece of dynamic clothing on V4 no probs

I am using Poser pro 2014 latest patch

So could someone help an old wrinkly and veryify  is it me? or am I  right in my conclusion that genesis and the cloth room at this present time dont like each other

Cheers Ray

This is my "de-glamourized" Vicky 5 wearing James I's dynamic t-shirt.

The calculation took 10 seconds on my i5 laptop.

Maybe try saving Genesis first as a "proper" cr2 to your runtime ?

One of the Genesis male poses.

Still no problems whatsoever with the calculation.

One of the female poses.

I don't use dynamics very often, so this is just the default settings.

But there seems to be nothing wrong with Genesis and the cloth room.

(PP-2014 and SR2.2)
