Subject: EZskin2 Skin1 vs Skin2?

Quick question with EZskin2, since I made a few test renders with Skin1 and Skin2 for SSS and can't see a difference...  What is the difference?

ETA: Had to convert to jpg for size constraints.

The scatter coefficients/color are slightly different.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Gotcha.  Thanks.  The pic illustrates it well.  Would some be more accurate for certain ethnicities over the other, or is the difference strictly for personal preference?

The skin color map you use will dominate the results in a way that indicates ethnicity. I think the two skin preset settings have more to do with subcutaneous fat than skin color.

However, we're into the realm of subtlety that escapes most users. For me, one seemed better at producing the back-lit ear than the other. But I can't remember which.

Whatever it is I used in this thread was what I liked best.
