Your video editor will probably have suggested formats. I usually upload my own videos to YouTube, and follow their suggestions for wide-screen video--
They also suggest codecs, frame rates, etc. , which can get complicated. But it really depends on where your video is going, and how powerful your computer is. As usual, the higher resolution you can handle, the better. Make your Poser PNGs in whatever size you decide to use, string them all together, do your post work, voila...

hello again
i am wondering about resolution size in the movie making feature.
i was shown the rendering in pngs which is great(thanks to rendo community) but i am wondering output size with regards avi.
this project should be able to be viewed on "wide screen" considering most visual media is in that format.
should i just follow the 720, 1080.. format?
there will be heavy postwork on the clips- but i am looking for a relativly decent source matierial rendered in an acceptable amount of time. i am aware it really depends on what is being produced. in this case "standard" new animation style, "realistic". there will not be a great amount of figures.
