Subject: My experiment with Hair Room eyebrows and beard...

Obviously, this could still use considerable improvement, but I think I can consider this my first successful portrait with all Hair Room hair—no painted eyebrows or beard. I *really* hope the styling tools see massive overhaul soon. Think creating a hairstyle is bad? It's a nightmare trying to create reasonable eyebrows. This is still a long way from what I would like, but it's passable for now.

Not too bad. I've actually seen guys who look like that. Not bad at all.

Looks good for a start :-) Love the grey tones in the coloring!

If I may make some suggestions: facial hair is thicker, and less dense, than head-hair, and therefore a bit more jumpy too. So the beard and brows look a bit too smooth to me, they "feel too soft" if that makes sense in a 3D image.

Nice job anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.

Thanks, aRtBee. The struggle is that when I leave it patchier, the uniformity of the beard hair gets really obvious.

One problem with hair room hair that I've seen is that it doesn't really curl, it frizzes.

Yes. The styling tools are woefully inadequate.
