The best way to contact us in regards to copyright issues is copyrights@renderosity.com. Posting here could cause unwarranted damage to a vendors reputation when they haven't done anything wrong.
Since this is (was) a coypright concern, I've compared the two images. There is visible evidence that the swing was removed from the dhgate image (bluriness, haziness, evidence of cloning and slight color changes). Technically, this should be ok per our license, but I haven't read the product's readme yet to see what type of additional restrictions may be in there (which is allowed in 2d resource type products). I'm off to check out the product's readme and file a DMCA with dhgate if needed.
I have compared the image - and I can see that it is cloned out on the bottom to give more grass, as it repeats over and over as if it were cloned.
Everything else is in the same spot.
This happens to me on a constant basis, on all different sites, all across the internet. I know my work when I see it.
It is from my pack - as this pack has sold probably more than any other background pack in my store, aside from a few, this is one that I have had to have removed from countless sites.
This guy has been a member there since 2013, this set has been up on Rendo since 2009.
I have probably written 100 DMCA notices for this set alone.
Thank you for letting me know, and as soon as I can get my little one down, and my other one settled I will work on getting it removed.

Jen - this isn't allowed, as it is not a resource with which to make other resources or print it out as it is, which aside from the cloning, it is still the image as it is.
Unfortunately the render part of the tree and flowers is gone from my hard drive as this was before I started saving them all, however, the water/sunset is right here on my drive exactly as it appears in my image with color enhancements.
But yes, in the future if you ever find my stuff on another site - it is NOT me. I sell EXCLUSIVELY on Renderosity.
The ONLY other place aside from facebook that I post previews of my stuff on deviantART but do not sell (except my actual paintings in print form) I do not sell backgrounds or anything else there.
Sveva,
Thank you for clearing that up! I'm grateful that it isn't something I need to worry about on this end.
It's awful that you need to deal with people taking your hard work and trying to profit from it though. Especially as the same sort of product.
As for vendor reputation. I apologize if I harmed that. I meant to be clear that I didn't know what was really going on and who used what from who.
In any regard, thanks for the attention to the matter.

No no its perfectly OK! My reputation is unscathed, I have been around for a long time, =) I am fine, I hate to see this kind of thing, I have been the victim too much to count! But I get sitemails all the time over it, and you are welcome to site mail me any time if you find anything as I will hunt them down and have it removed =) (as time allows!)
I have never even heard of this site, but I am not surprized, I have had worse happen to me, oh believe me ;)
Just FYI I have filed an official DMCA with this company, and now to start the grueling process of going through the rest of that vendors stuff, and the site loads so slow... lol
Dont hesitate to contact me (though I might not see it in the forums) through sitemail if you should ever find anything again, which I do not doubt that you will unfortunately!
Thanks and have a great day =)
So irritated with this site - they are doing NOTHING. I have sent two dmca notices one to the site one to the vendor and I have gotten NO WHERE. I found a LOT more of my work on this site from this person... a ton of my backs just being resold.....
I think I am screwed as it's a Chinese site I think and so I doubt they will honor the dmca :( so annoying and completely unfair to myself and my loyal customers.
I'll keep trying. Anyway take care. ;)
It says on that page that the product is sold out? So I don't know if it's really been sold out or pulled out of the store? But yup... This person has over 2000 products for sale in that store and in the past year seems he only had 10 purchases in all so I don't think you need to worry much... ;) Not that it makes it ok, but it's always a bit of a comfort to know someone's not getting rich by cheating you...

So I was looking for a normal piece of clip art, just a square. And I came across an image that I knew I recognized from a background that I purchased here.
Here is what I have purchased from Renderosity:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/charmed-woodlands-bundle/73365/
I double checked the read me for resources cited. It states:
"This collection of 24 "Charmed Woodlands" Backgrounds + 18 Bonus backgrounds are hand-painted and hand brushes combined with 3D elements/Props/Prop Sets. All backgrounds are 2200x3000 300 DPI" No resources cited.
On the actual product it states that hours and hours of hand painting went into this.
Here is what I came across on the internet:
http://www.dhgate.com/product/wholesale-photo-backdrop-wallpaper-curtain/162893187.html
Now the whole thing may be on the up and up. Obviously it is acceptable to use resources when doing something like this. But shouldn't those resources be cited for us as well? And when the vendor specifically says that it was all hand painted by them, I think it's fair as the consumer that I should be able to assume that's true.
Someone, I don't know which, used something that someone else put out. If it is the person from the second site, it seems like there would be some difficulty in removing that swing. Maybe it's the same vendor selling elsewhere under a different name.
I don't know but I would like it looked into and I'd like to know if there are copyright implications in what I am using.
