Subject: Blender and Fitted Mesh?

Ok so I am trying to work with a .blend file which is layered with info and setups to rig objs to export as .dae files, one thing, the readme info is written in blender and I have no idea how or which tabs access the text written in blender, could someone point out what area notes and stuff are found in or maybe the 2.7 hotkey to open up that screen? I am vaugely familiar with blender, I only know the sculpting tools, and some of the commands to work with meshes, everything else is kinda other worldly to me. Thanks in advance...

I will include a screen shot and depending if you have the defualt scene you will see where to click to open the text editor and and should be able to see the text file from there
