Is there a fixed uvset for the Genesis anatomy male/female?

I don't use them a lot, but I am working on a pool sceen and for one shot I want M5's shorts to have slipped down a lot but not off; I'm trying something with the soft body physics. But it just isn't going to work with the screwed up pubic UVs.

This is looking like a FiMS issue. So I guess I need to Fix it MySelf.

But hey this is a Carrara issue so why should DAZ fix it. It's not like us carraraest use DAZ content or DAZ has done anything special to carrara to use DAZ content like genesis. I mean I paid for this .5 update to get the new light icons and tweaked bullet physics. I certainly didn't pay to use a buggy figure or for a nonfuntional autofit feature.

People give me attitude about my attitude with DAZ, and stuff like this is why I have that attitude. When was the genetalia released for Genesis? Did you say going on 3 years ago? Surely in that amount of time DAZ has had time to fix this, right? So there must be an update I missed because DAZ wouldn't leave an issue that makes a piece of content usless, for 3 years, right?

I honestly don't understand why people let DAZ get away with this crap.

Well this is a typical DAZ. The bug with genetalia is a well known bug carrara has with any genesis addon. What can I say about a company that is well aware of a bug, wont fix it, yet keeps selling the product knowing it is bugged. Sorry but this is just way too typical of DAZ.

But I have figured out the biggest issue with DAZ, Dazzies. The constent yes men that will rise to defend DAZ regardless of how wrong DAZ is or how bad a job they do. With out people like myself that will task DAZ to do better, DAZ has stopped even trying; 3 year to 8 month old unaddressed bugs does not fly with me. Dazzeis might step up and defend DAZ for doing an inept job of fixing bigs and issues, but I am not that forgiving, I haven't lowered my expectations of an application developer.

Why do application and game developers release so much shlock now a days? Simple, people let them. Sorry, I have done construction, warehouse, and COOP work all my life, doing an inept job gets you fired not forgiven.

Is there even anyone left at DAZ that can fix the bugs in Carrara? I get the impression that programmers/developers at DAZ are few and far between.

I am assumming they have a lead developer or head of the development department, but I think actual developers are ether temp or they out source it. I can't come up with any other viable explanation, but that is still not an excuse to not fix bugs.

But I'm gone so DAZ really doesn't have a task master anymore. No one seems whilling to hold DAZ responsable for fixing these issues. But they will certainly come up with excuses for DAZ.

I may be misremembering, but shouldn't C9 be out by now? I could have sworn DAZ said Q1 for version 9 (not that I was holding my breath). No news about it over in the DAZ forums last time I was over there.

Not worried about it. I knew it wasn't going to happen so I blew it off. I know better then to hold DAZ to anything they say.

Have they got Auto fit working or can the clothes be manually fit?

I'm asking because I like the way V5 looks, but with all the problems I keep seeing people having with Genesis & G2F, I don't know.

I WANT Genesis to work right, but since I need this stuff to work correctly, I have been waiting it out.

I mean DAZ is giving Genesis about as much love as carrara.

But I have been using genesis pretty much excluivly since I got C8.5. And for the reason you say, it look better. Things to remember is V5 is just another morph of genesis so V5 content works fine on genesis; as far as I know. If you get the mill 3 iconic shape you can use pretty much all your mil3 and 4 clothes; excluding dresses, shoes and hr2 hair.

Boob tuck is a PITA, but can be fixed in carrara with soft body physics; just set the blouse up for softbody then use the soft body attach to attach the rest of the blouse leaving just the breast area to drape. This used to be fixable by moddeling in the assembly room but in the release version of C8.5 I can't create a morph on autofit clothes to fix the breast tuck.

But, boob tuck, bad stretching of the center of skirts, and the toe spliting of shoes is going to be your biggest issues. Even genesis shoes toe split on genesis. Dress stretching can be fixed in the modeling room, and toe split can sometimes be posed out; reposing the toes.

None the less DAZ including the G1 M/F genitalia is an example of DAZ's less the scropuless buisness desisions. As in they counted them in with the freebies for carrara knowing they were bugged and couldn't be used in carrara. That is just too damned typical of DAZ.
