Figured the scene would make a lovely pano, however only have a standard 18-55 kit lens, and then I recalled finding Microsoft's ICE on my system while clearing my runtime. Wondered how good ICE could it be compared to other freebie panoramic makers, and fair play to MS's techies it does a darn good job. A big version can be seen here...(or click link above).... http://www.poserdirect.com/images/panos/pano_cath2000ap14.jpg ...btw the linked pano might take some time to load in your browser as it's 2.34mb 7078x2000 JPG. But not as large as the original, a massive 20326x5400 PNG at 214mb!! Note: theres a few glitches as I didn't edit this much, just a crop, clone some sky into the top right corner and very rough clean-up around the spire. Apart from that it's literally as ICE made it. Which amazingly despite that level of down-sampling it's still possible to see a plastic bag in a tree and still read the name on a street sign.Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
Lovely! You should upload to the gallery!

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."
Elliott Erwitt

thanks all! Meisiekind - must be honest can't remember the last time I uploaded to the gallerys here and at DA :) Though I probably will do once my next personal project is ready, an idea that (if it works) that can be used in both real world photos and also in 3d apps. But more on that once it's ready )
