Have an idea for a MarketPlace product? Would you like to let the MarketPlace Merchants know?
This is the place!
Make sure you check The Product Showcase Forum and The Product Showcase Art Gallery.
I am running latest release of Poser 7. The Readme file contains this info:
*At times, you may experience some big issues in Poser 7. Loading Skirt or Moving the bottom handles may cause some big surface distortions. If so, please delete the Skirt figure from scene and load it again.
Deleting and reloading made the jumble slightly smaller but didn't fix it. It seems to me that the developers should have put more effort into identifying and solving the problem. This is far from a common problem and wouldn't happen without a design error of some kind.

In another experiment I replace V4 with the Netherworks Cloth Ball. The skirt then loaded properly, but after adding V4, the skirt would not conform to V4, even after deleting the cloth ball.
I have inspected my start up configuration in a text editor and there is nothing in it other than the GROUND prop and default lights and cameras. The skirt loads properly in Poser 8, but I do most of my work in Poser 7 which other than this bizarre example is extremely stable for me as evidenced by well over 1000 posts to the Gallery.
There is no problem with the shirt in the same set.
I would like to know what might be causing this so Hameleon can be informed how to fix it. It probably has something to do with crosstalk, and has to be caused by some error in how the skirt cr2 was rigged. The product is sold as compatible with poser 6 or higher and ought to be fixed so that is true. I am attaching an image of what it looks like after loading.
