Hi Folks,

Dr geep here ... I just finished viewing the Cloth Room tutorial done by Mark Bremmer.

If you're thinking about trying your hand using the Cloth Room, Mark does a first class job explaining the basics. Rated 5 stars ***** by Dr Geep Studios.

Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Just click the link above the image. 😄

Thanks Mark. 👍

cheers,

I agree Mark, it certainly answered quite a few of my questions, I'm so thankful for these tutorials.

I also found it very informative. What I would like to do is learn how I could make sails on a sailing ship move with the wind and a flag fluttering in the breeze as the ship moves along.

Are there any tutorials on this? Cheers

I did a bunch of tuts on Cloth and Hair Room: http://www.book.artbeeweb.nl/

Note that some Cloth tuts are pretty advanced, though. For starters, the Case Studies are recommended.

(In the meantime, Material Room is out as well. Enjoy)

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.

visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though

I like mark's tute. he forgets to "clothify against", as if hinting it be mutually exclusive by default, i.e. you don't want cloth passing thru any objects.  no-brainer.

flag animation also done using wave deformer in pose room.  perhaps mark or artbee have tutorial on that.  it was possible as early as poser 4, as shown below.
