Subject: Questions on Morphing Clothes Utility by Dimension 3D

Bendinggrass ( ) posted Fri, 20 June 2014 at 9:30 AM · edited Sat, 02 November 2024 at 3:13 PM

Hi Folks.

I see this is on sale now, and I never saw it before now.

I get the feeling this is an old utility as there are not too many options with it. If anyone here has experience with it could you tell me more about it.

I see it works with Jessie; does it work with Allyson, so as to make more available for Anastasia by Blackhearted?

Does it go in both directions, for example, V4 to V3, and V3 to V4.... ?

And in general, how useful and effective have you found it to be?

Sincere thanks.

Randy

Online Now!

Many of the veteran users here in the forum, including myself, swear by it.  It is the best utility for adding morphs to existing clothing that don't exist otherwise.  The same type of feature exists in Poser 10/PP2014 but D3D's utility is the original.

Thanks so much, that is a great help.

It is a great tool that does a decent job but it is not a "magic bullet".  Depending on the quality level that you find acceptable, you may need to smooth out the results with the morph brush - with some morphs, not all.

I swear by it and couldn't do without it...and it covers a heck of a lot of ground. 😉

Comitted to excellence through art.

Can't do without it, it creates morphs FAST, unlike wardrobe wizard that comes with Poser, speed is the one reason I use Morphing Clothes.

I've never used it, but now i have 2014, so i don't really need it. But-- changing the subject slightly-- PP2014's Copy morphs command could stand a few tweaks to make it better. There has to be some way to check all those buttons on the hierarchy list better. I pretty much transfer the same morphs all the time. It'd be nice if I  could just set the list once and forget it until i need to change it.

When creating clothes I use it as well, couldn't do without it. It's a great application and until Poser 2014 it was the best to use. I don't have Poser 2014, so I can't say if that works better or not. Morphing clothes is excellent and fast.

Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

PP2014 has the advantage that it does not create a lot of new geometry files.
The PP14 transfer morphs function is also much faster.

Yes. I have both programs. Before PP14 I swore by Morcloth. It is still the best option for those running older Poser versions without the built-in functionality.

I found a way to make it work on mac using wine.  I turned it into a stand alone applicaiton.

MY ONLINE COMIC IS NOW LIVE

I aim to update it about once a month.  Oh, and it's free!
