Subject: Texturing a model

I've been in a Scifi mood lately and I noticed during the clearance sale there are some great models by rj001 and they're for bryce, but can be used in programs that can import 3ds. He states they are not for Poser but I can import the models fine. I was wondering though, how do I go about texturing them? Any ideas? Thanks.

One possible way is to try loading one his cool .3ds models into poser and export it as .OBJ. Load the .OBJ into the free edition of UVMapper and do a little mapping and group/material re-assigning. You might need to spilt the vertexes or flip some polys, but thats the nature of .3ds files in general. Then import that new .OBJ back into poser, apply some textures or materials and save it as a poser prop.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
