Did something stupid a month ago, hurt my back, hell trying to sleep.  Finally going away, but NP tells me no lifting.  So be it, also so be it nothing gets done.

Got up this morning, been having  pretty nice weather, temps 40's and 50's.  This morning, low teens.  Don't need that.

Finally got around to do my taxes, I get most of it back every year, around $3200.  Odd, but my property taxes aren't much less.  Oh, well.

I live in the town that's the home of the Burlington Liars Club, (No, I'm not kidding, it exists) I can easily understand why they won't accept lies submitted by politicians,  Amateurs should never have to compete with professionals.

Never watched Smallville on the tube but bought all of the boxes instead.  My favorite episodes were the ones with other heroes (not just GA, but the Legion, the JSA, etc.).

i'm up to the episode he decides clark kent would be the disguise.

only 2 disks left to watch of season10. gonna feel so sad when it's over.

because of my heart condition I cannot drink caffeinated beverages of any kind. I also cannot eat chocolate and herbal tea has stuff in it that messes with my anti-arrhythmia meds. Also on a 0 sodium diet. It's all real fun but alternative is having my defibrillator shoot off and then a trip to the ER.

Mine doesn't do that, just starts skipping beats like crazy.  But one pot a day is only a third or less of what I was drinking before.  Playing the triple bypass game wasn't exactly fun either.  Oh, well, pass the sausage.  I'm gonna have something I like and damned be the consequence. Doric.

Dentist doesn't bother me now, I can leave my teeth with him and have him call me when he's done.

My advice, and I know the dentist is expensive, but get rid of it.  It's only going to get worse.

About 9:15 I gave my little miniature chihuahua his blood pressure meds, he's fourteen or fifteen.  Gave him a little liver sausage treat, as normal, put him on the floor and went to rinse out the syringe I use to put it in his mouth.  Almost done with that and I heard him crying, came in and found him on the floor.  He has had seizures in the past, but usually silent.  Picked him up, totally limp.  Grandpa was such a little sweetheart.  He'll be buried in the part of my yard that all my other pets have been.  RIP, Grandpa, gonna miss you.  He passed away in my hands.  Hurts.

so sorry.  buppies such a big part of our lives. always ready with the hugs and kisses and unconditional love.

I used to unbutton the top button of my shirt, put Grandpa inside, and he went everywhere with me.  Three and a half pounds, and as healthy looking at they can be,   Miniatures aren't like regular Chihuahuas, they have the sweetest nature you could imagine, Grandpa was no different.  I don't really know how old he was, he came to me through an animal rescue, the vet estimated ten at that time, and I had him for almost five years.  Chihuahuas were the only dogs my wife didn't have an allergy to, so they're about all we ever had.  Buried him this morning, something I definitely didn't want to do.  That's four dogs and three cats in that area now, one dog died in winter and I couldn't dig, so had her cremated, the vet disposing of her.  All of the dogs were over thirteen, and that makes for a very big attachment to them.  My  last one now, I'm too damned old, I'll go before they do and I'd rather not have to worry what would happen to another dog when I ain't here anymore.  Still have two cats, but they're not the same, although they can be pretty nice sometimes.
