Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 4:20 pm)
I'd like to add my thanks to "Freebie" Poser python script-writers of ages past!
And.... where have you guys gone? :)
<--- Willing to beg for script updates for Poser 2012, doesn't know Python, is lost in Poser version translations.
Also, to those vendors who make great utilities and complex rigging and JCMs - You know who you are! Thank you, very much!
(MOAR PLSKTHX!)
To those who wrestle with demons in order to create hair models, I extend my warmest thanks. Any hair I model looks like a melting helmet. One day, Poser will have real hair in it... Yes, real hair! (It'll need a bigger box.) Until then, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you, every Poser figure would be bald, since nobody can use Poser's Hair Room for anything except making a mess.
To the Lightbringers, those who work hard to make great lighting sets will all the frills and options that only an expert can provide, I offer deep gratitude. I've learned quite a bit, just trying to diagnose how you did what you did and why you did it. Thank you very much for your hard work!
And, finally, those few node-culters and material wizards that work their magic in the dark depths of the Material Room - You've driven more innovation into Poser than you probably know. Thank you! (You should all get a Nobel for physics.)
My thanks as well, although some vendors may have moved to Daz I have still found enough to spend my cash on, or more accurately, over spend on. Thanks also to those that Support Prime, not only does it give me fantastic products at a stunning price it also allows me to try vendors and, in many cases, move on to their non Prime products with the confidence. In this way I purchase products that I may not have purchased otherwise.
Have a great New Year and thanks again to you all (far too many good vendors to name individually).
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

I just wanted to express my Grateful Thank Yous to all the vendors who continue to make their Fab products for Poser :) I know there is a big push to go to Daz Studio but I am a hardcore Poser user. I miss the vendors who have gone to Daz Studio and I miss their products they used to make for Poser. I know it's just personal preference :)
Anyways, just wanted to say Thank You Poser Vendors for your wonderful products and keep up the amazing work :)
