Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 1:41 pm)
It seems that this question was asked in the forum a while ago. But I'm not sure if you're wanting exactly the same thing. I can't figure out how to get the link to the thread itself, but this is BB's solution. You can look at the rest of the thread to see if it's a solution to your particular issue, I guess. :)

In order to maintain aspect ratio, I did this, but I used a big square with a rectangle of the correct aspect ratio cut out so that I'd get a frame across the top as well (rather than 2 squares as BB suggests for the person who is wanting just a darker frame on both sides). Works like a dream for me.

Thank you. I'm going to try your suggestion and the other. I still wish Poser would do something about it though.

Well I can't believe I'm asking this but I will.
The aspect frame around the preview window in Poser is a slightly darker transparency. I hate this. I wish I could darken it, make it stand out some how or turn it into a solid color. I have scoured the internet trying to find a way to do this. It's hard sometimes to see that aspect frame and I am constantly zooming things in and out trying to see the cutoff point to my render. After returning no results in my research I have come to think it's not possible. However, as a last ditch effort I am asking the Poser forum members if there is a way to darken the aspect frame or make it a solid color.
please help before I pull my hair out
