Hello everyone

First off let me thank everyone who actively participates in our Blender forum community. I feel we have some bright stars in the community and because of that I think it is high time we start running some contest to let our bright stars shine. I would like to start this off with running a contest to replace the currently missing Blender banners we had on the top of our welcome to the Blender forum page. I am working on getting the exact dimensions that the banners would be and as soon as I do I will start off that first contest. The banners should be something made and rendered in Blender. Some options for future contest can be determined by the community or picked by the winner of recently finished contest. I am also in talks with Moderators of the other forum communities to perhaps run some joint contest like perhaps a joint Blender/Poser theme or Blender/Daz studio and we can do numerous contest/challenges based on idea from within the community so start thinking of somethings you wish to see with our upcoming contest. So get the creative juices flowing.

funny 'cos I was thinking of suggesting some challenges, we used to do it in another forum and it was a lot of fun and could pick up the odd tip or three ;-)

dice spam and mix with equal amount of diced potato fry on high heat with onion and garlic

when nice and black ~~~~~ chuck in bin and order takeaway ..........rofl ;-)
