Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 1:41 pm)
The problem with the way you're thinking is that there isn't one number that works for all things. Each texture needs to be considered separately. My best advice would be to test out values starting from the base that Poser has at default and working up or down depending on the need of the look you're after.

I mainly create props and other things for Daz. However, I own Poser 10 and I know how to use it and save my own props but I haven't offered any because I suck as finding the proper bump settings in the material room. I like to make small ground scenes, trees and things like that. I have a proper bump map and texture map. I know where to plug in each map but I was looking for a simple easy to understand setting that works for most things of that nature.
Can someone take pitty on me and give me good suggestions.
