Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 09 8:30 pm)
DS will rad only the base materials settings, nothing that has to be set in the ShaderTree section of the library file. There isn't, as far as I am aware, any way to get things like true reflections or displacement in DS from a Poser file - those all require a native materials file. (There was a script or plug-in fro DS that would do a better job, but unfortunately it wasn't updated for DS4.)

correct me if im wrong , it seems most of the object's shaders, materials and render settings made in poser will not directly apply to daz studio... reflectivity based on spherical map in poser for example, will not work in daz untill we do some manual adjustment. is there any special settings need to be done in poser to optimize the render quality in daz with no manual adjustment at all?
