I do not recall seeing anything like that script for Blender as of yet will look thru the third party add ons that are available on Blender Artist forum and see if anything comes up that resembles this max script

Well, I scoured the blenderaddonlist webpage, and there's nothing like it there, except for F2 addon, which I already use. This would be really handy, because it's similar to F2's convenience, but takes the place of a multitude of commands, like Knife, Loop Cut, Subdivide, Make Edge/Face, Bridge Edge Loops, P and J hotkeys, and a few others. Definitely something to keep on the radar. It would be a game changer for modellers.

GPU.
Have you browsed all the add ons that are available at Blender Artist? The have multiple threads of add ons that are being worked on http://blenderartists.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?48-Released-Scripts-and-Themes

There is currently no existing addon of this nature for Blender, but one can never be certain what the future of the software could bring. It might be difficult for a programmer to create an addon which does all of the same functions that the UniConnector script does in 3dsmax, just the same. In Blender, some of the equivalent features highlighted in this script would be addons in their own right. I don't know if that would create a dependency problem in the scripting, or perhaps it would actually make it even easier to implement; I don't understand Python that well to know for sure. All of the features that this script encompasses, in it's unification of command operations, are part of the core technology of the 3dsmax software. In Blender, some of them would actually depend on which addons a user has enabled, or disabled, in their preferences. For example, Blender has 3 different ways to bridge edges. Only one of them is part of the core architecture, and the rest are optional addons, which I don't believe are turned on by default when the software is installed for the first time. So a script like UniConnector, for Blender, would need to be able to determine these variable conditions in the software preferences, and adjust to them on the fly. Seems like it would be a very tall order to ask, but I could be wrong.
Without a doubt, this would be something very useful to have in any modeling software. I was actually surprised it was possible to do, and so far, it's proven quite successful in my own personal workflow. I'd like to also have it available in Blender, but Blender has it's own set of nuances that make it a fast and efficient modeling package anyway.

This is a addon script for 3dsmax that does a bunch of useful operations, depending on which sub-element level you are in, by using just one hotkey. It can take the place of a Cut tool, a bridge edges/faces tool, a Connect edges/vertices tool, a Cap Hole tool, a Distance Connect across existing edges, and can even work on Splines, by creating spline segments between two points, all from just one simple hotkey command. Man, this thing is a real time saver, and truly useful tool. Now that I'm working more and more in Blender, I'd REALLY love to see something like this as an addon. It would literally save us from having to recall as many as 5 or 6 hotkeys, and help speed up the modelling process. Before I go requesting this in forums, or whatever, does anyone know if something like this already exists? This would really be amazing to have in Blender, as hotkey memorization seems to be one of the bigger complaints among novice to intermediate users to begin with. This would definitely help in that aspect.
Here's a link to the Max addon script so you can see what I mean:

Luxxeon posted it over in the Max forum, so I gave it a go, but I'm not using 3dsmax nearly as much these days unfortunately, so my first thought was PLEASE have something like this for Blender! lol.
