So, since Renderosity it changing a few things, I re-created the header for the Carrara page and reset the links. I visited the Free Stuff category and found this little gem by Kixum. I retooled the textures a little on account of some mental disorder which makes me rework textures on everything - over and over. And here you see the results. 

The photo? Well, I obviously have the wind-ups cousin in my studio, carrying away some hapless victim...

I noticed the new header the other day and then forgot to say anything about it - very nice!  I also noticed that the Carrara F.A.Q. apparently has no questions, because of course, as Carrara users, we already know everything worth knowing. ;)

I've been kind of wandering through the thousands of pages of free stuff here at rendo in my spare time over the past couple weeks - there's a lot of really great stuff in there but I haven't come across that little robot model yet or I would definitely have grabbed it and used it in something; I had tons of those as a kid.
