Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 01 5:26 pm)
I'm a Windows user, so not sure... but try this, load the object by either highlighting it (single click) and then use the check marks at the bottom of the library to load the item, or try left clicking on the item and dragging the image to the interface window. If you still get two files, appearing in the scene then something weird is going on there. If you were a Windows user I'd suggest that single click might be double clicking (maybe a mouse problem). Does this happen in any other programs? Try to check your mouse properties in your Mac control panel. Hopefully a Mac user will be able to provide more help :)

Maybe it's the Double Click speed setting? Just guessing...
The dust settled, thinking "what a fine home, at least for now" not realizing that doom would soon be coming in the form of a vacuum cleaner.

You're right Kazam, it seems a problem of the Mac not of Poser Pro, because if i drag the object it opens just one time.
I'm totally new with the Mac so i'm sorry to have created this thread, i thought it was a problem of the software :/
See if you can set the click interval for your mouse. It may be either allowing you to quadruple-click because the click sensitivity is too high or the program is misinterpreting its click interval. (I'm not a Mac user, sorry.)

Hi to all,
i have this problem:
I have passed from Poser Pro 2010 on PC to Poser Pro 2012 on Mac.
When i double click on the figure i want to open on the library, it takes a lot of time to open it (even if it's on a new Mini Mac)and once ii open, i found that there are two identical object one over the other, it's like it opens two files instead of one, and i don't know why.
This happen not to all the objects and i'm not able to understand the reason of it, there is someone out there that could help me?
:)
