Most of my Favorite Merchants sell right here at Renderosity so I'm sending out this plea - PLEASE create skins/characters for DUSK, DAWN & LUNA.

There are so MANY of us, now over at HiveWire that are VERY ANXIOUS for more DUSK characters and clothing, as well as for our beloved Dawn, and now our little baby Luna! ...and THANK YOU to those of you here that already have created characters for Dawn.

The new DAWN SR2 (and Dawn SE) are fantastic, as well as Dusk and the adorable baby Luna, who are both catching up quickly to Dawn in available morphs that help them with so many varied looks and ages. Dusk is, in my humble opinion, the best male model on the market now, with a loyal following just constantly badgering our Hive merchants for Dusk characters/skins- so there is definitely a market! And Dusk is still free!

So many of you have jumped on the Genesis train, so when I shop here, I just sigh, and look elsewhere... (I already have bought just about every single character and clothing for Dawn, HERE at Renderosity I could get my hands on. It's SO much easier and results in a cleaner look to have her wearing clothes made FOR HER, instead of "cross dressed" to her... The same goes for the often used program that transfers skins from V4 to Dawn... which I also use. It's a process though, because those programs do not bring the SSS over in the transfer and have to be painfully copied and pasted for every body part. I've pleaded on behalf of the Dusk users for the creator of Texture Transformer to do a version of TT for Dusk from M4, but so far there is none.

I do come here to Renderosity and check "What's New" in the marketplace, but seeing the mass of figures for all other models, I just sigh and leave.....

Thank you for listening, and I hope that the great talent pool here will seriously consider Dusk, Dawn and Luna characters for all of us.

I would also love to see more textures for the Hivewire family. I have no problem with converting to DS from Poser so would be happy with textures for either program. Here's a render of Dawn as a child that I did...the Hivewire family are really beautiful characters.

The workmanship that has gone into the models from Hivewire3D is top quality and it is worth the time and effort to create for them and I just want to add that the Hivewire team are a top quality bunch of people, always willing to help. Please give these new generation of characters a chance, it will be worth it in the end. And a big thank you to those that have and are adding Dawn to their creations, please dont stop, there is a market out there for her and also the other Hivewire models. One more thing, the Hivewire models work natively in both Daz Studio and Poser, thats got to be plus in itself.

I too would really love to see more creating for the Hivewire3D family! There are so many wonderfully creative folks here at Renderosity! Dusk, Dawn & Luna are a real joy to work with! I too have contacted the creators of Texture Transformer & really do hope, they create texture conversion between M4 & Dusk. Thanks folks! :) Here's one I did of Dusk a little while back. (Rick)

Oh I agree whole heartedly...I love the HiveWire figures...Dawn...Dusk and Luna... and I would jump at the chance to get some Characters made for them...

I have purchased nearly all the characters and clothing made for Dawn at Rendo and I would purchase those for Dusk and Luna too if they were available. Dawn, Dusk and Luna are wonderful figures to work with and each iteration reinforces my liking of both figures and the company that produces them, Hivewire 3d. So please, make things for them , take my money, and I and many others will be very happy.

Yes please!! More items ........... My Dusk T-shirt and sweater are now all dirty and who knows what Creech is going to to do it next !! Although, that might be an interesting effect I could buy. There are some really Kick Ass designers here (excuse my French) and I could really also go for an awesome set of etched plate mail for my Dusk hero, or some nice long Dusk hair. Monster Photo Op

BlueEcho, Those look really nice ! I especially like the first dawn texture set!

One thing with the lack of Dusk skins plus the converters out there...folks have tried to use the converters- to take M4 to DAWN then Dawn to Dusk or something like that... (my dyslexia is going crazy trying to explain that one!!) BUT the brow line is just not the same across those figures...and men have prominent brow lines!

But what I am trying to express, is that folks want DUSK to have more characters SO BADLY that they are trying to run M4 maps through all sorts of converters!! Another reason for the FANTASTIC merchants like SAV, danae, etc. to jump on the Dusk bandwagon....

And remember "they (the statisticians) say" for every ONE person that takes time to post there are something like 10 in the 'silent majority' who also are just not speaking up but want the same thing... :)

The new Dawn version is looking great!

I make mostly Dynamic Clothing, but I often include Dawn. I have even included Dusk in one of my products. If the demand increases, I will certainly keep supporting them! I am hoping that it will with the new Dawn release.

Dawn is definitely underestimated, the new Dawn SE if beautiful in her basic form, she bends exceeding well, textures in the new edition are top spec and she is very attractive in her unmorphed form.

I do a lot of Dynamics now over at HW due to a lot of folk requests. This render is Dawn SE with the texture and makeup she came with and a tweak of the morphs she came with also, its near enough out the box

The more support we get for these great Hivewire characters, the better in my opinion. All vendor suppport greatly anticipated and appreciated.

Genesis is a market that is pretty saturated right now so if your sales are not what you want them to be then consider supporting Dusk, Dawn and little sweet Luna. Luna is BY FAR the best looking baby mesh out there.

I recently had a conversation with a friend known for his male maps and he had made a comment about how old school these figures are, I have to disagree. Every figure produced is released with it's own set of issues and bugs. Every figure out there without the support of the merchants would fail because of these issues. Dusk and Dawn are solid, well built figures that simply have not gotten the attention they deserve.

Folks are always complaining about "Well this works in Poser" Or "Well this only works in DAZ Studio" ... guess what? These figures work in both programs equally as well. Not all merchants support both platforms so there is still a bit of a split in that regard but over time I think both figures end up with enough skins, hair, wardrobe and other accessories to make it all worthwhile.

Awww, you are all waaay too sweet! Sure your enthusiasm is contagious and pushes me to try to make more Dusk (and why not, also Dawn and Luna) characters. I must thank Rick (Cadmar) because he started this passion of mine for Dusk and I totally agree with all of you: those Hivewire3d figures are amazing, with tons of potential and a fresh new market open for sooo many many many ideas I just wish I have more hours in my days

I was also lucky enough to be gifted this beautiful character...thanks to a very kind person! I have all four of your figures now and as soon as I finishing converting the last two to DS I'm going to post a render of them. Thanks so much for supporting Dusk.

and the NICE coupon Rendo is providing NOW.... yay! I can either use EZ skin for the SSS .... or substitute this gorgeous bunch of maps on a character I don't care for... even an older V4 one, that HAS sss that I like... yes, expensive, but REALLY NICE and with the NATURAL SKIN, I can use it for Baby Luna, since brows are so "barely there" on babies... (and yes, I'd always have the body parts covered up with clothing)....

I've actually bought a few merchant resources for DAWN, including LIVING DOLL here.... with the idea of just using them myself.... I want to try an nice California TAN skin via photoshop too... :)

Now if 3Dream would come up with a DUSK resource skin, I'd be in heaven!! hmmmm... time for a PM... grin!
