New Poser Users Help F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 25 2:14 pm)

Yes. Genesis/Genesis 2 can be imported into Poser using the DSON Importer. This will, at least, make those figures compatible with Poser. There is a way to import G3F, but since it is only a DS only figure, the process is convoluted. Also, because the face morphs are rigged, G3F expressions will not work at all in Poser. Now. I don't think you will be able to reverse the process from Poser to DS, but I could be wrong.

I started with DS, and bought Poser but have found it hard for me to use - not least because of minute stuff on the screen. I have, however, recently tried again to get stuff from it, and am enjoying some elements. I have, for example, tried to develop characters, and I am moderately pleased with them, but how do I get them from Poser into DS, please? I think I understand how to do props, but nothing else (eg, if I could understand the methods) hair. Is it just me? What do I need to do, please?
