Looking for an alpine village that could be used as the setting for a sequence set in Vail, Colorado. Any suggestions?

There's "Le Village - Bundle" by Faveral on DAZ's site that might fit the bill, though it doesn't have snowy textures to my knowledge. If you have Poser 4.8 there's also "Build a Street: English Country Village" by IndigoJanson, also at DAZ, but again there doesn't seem to be snow materials.

Hope this helps a bit! I'll keep looking to see if I can find anything closer.

I'm an idiot! I already have LeVillage... just never thought of it! Thanks!

Cool! I hope it works for what you want.

gmm2, Snarly's Snow Machine makes fine snow (as I'm sure BasicWiz knows).

For villages, I'm pretty fond of the Country Cottage series at RDNA. And they may still be in the deep freeze. They even come with a dirt road that has optional snow textures. Also at RDNA -- Baker Street and the expansions. But looking at pics of Vail, things seem quite modern, so Le Village is likely a good choice. Also by Faveral, the Le Faubourg and Provence might work if you have those. However, the very old RDNA props still work just fine, and if they're going for a good price, they might make very good background buildings even in a modern setting.

Good suggestions, moriador!
