I posted earlier about Cgsoiety possibly hosting a new animation contest soon and I suggested entering a Carrara Team and there was some interest. Over at Carrarators we are just starting a "Practice animation", we are at the deciding the theme of the animation stage. Below is a copy of the main page at the Carrarators collaboration page for the animation, if you want to help us out with the animation you can go to the Carrarators site , any carrarator member can join the collaboration group. OR you click the Members List iin the copied text below.

This is the Main Page for the Carrara Animation Team.

This animation project is in preparation for Cgsociety's Team Animation Challenge which is possibly starting soon.(I am guessing a month or so) The theme of the practice animation is "What is that?" or "Bang!." Our goal is to come up with an idea for the theme and create a 30-60second animation using Carrara as the main 3d tool(we are flexible). If you want to help us out with the animation go to the members list and sign up by adding your name and skillset(modeler, animator, compositor etc.) Right now we are at the idea stage so feel free to post your ideas at either of the storyboard links below. Remember this is supposed to be a fun learning experience. :)
