Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 4:22 pm)
The rdna sellout was a big blow to my Poser browsing habits. I signed out from there and haven't logged back in since a few days after the whole mess happened.
Whatever though, screw them because CP has their own forums now, this place is still here, hivewire is doing well and some nice new places have popped up that should last.
is there any way to find out where all the RDNA vendors went to? I see a couple at DAZ .... and a lot of the stuff from RDNA ended up in the Platinum Club ...

14 hour server migration, working from home, and I'm still waiting for QA to do their magic and call it good. :)
Fingers crossed! That's a hell of a migration

Well, as Alisa mentioned above, there's HiveWire3D that's been open for almost 3 years now, but has a brand new forum that's only open to the public since the beginning of the year, and yes there are vendors (Contributing Artists) who specialize in products for figures other than those produced by HiveWire, and their store is growing nicely.
There's also a new forum at CGBytes, though I understand their store has been open for a while.

Thanks for the pointers. I'd known about them but was afraid of missing something new.

Regarding Renderotica... I've found that the adult forums are by far the best behaved. No one fights over characters or software, they just make sick, twisted, perverted, strange, weird, bizarre, and just plain messed up art. One of my favourite forums is inhabited by seriously depraved folk who are amazingly talented and always eager to answer questions. It's great!

Didn't realize how much I enjoyed checking out their new products. Very unique overall. Their forums were rockin pretty good. The Poser support there, the technical expertise of the people was top notch as well. I usually buy more from here, Renderosity, but diversity in product choice and stores is a plus for everyone, in my opinion.
