Subject: morphing texture maps

Is there a way to morph one texture map to another in animation? For example, I want to change the Mike standard skin texture map to the Mike Devourer texture map without doing a lap-dissolve in my editing program like they used to do in the old wolfman movies.

The little "key" icon is to turn on the animation of something in Poser. Animate your two textures. One from 100% to 0% and the other 0% to 100% and run them through a Blender node. They will cross fade into each other.
