because i have to click on them to see if they are for poser or genesis. I don't use genesis. why can't it say G3 etc like other promo makers do?

I'm 100% sure that you're 100% wrong with that statement. The fact that the OP started the thread is an indication that there exists confusion in what products are for Poser, DAZ Studio or both. New users to the programs and marketplaces won't necessarily know these things. Inferring that someone who doesn't know these things must be dumb says more about your arrogance than their ignorance.

Actually don't think I am incorrect nor arrogant. Besides the fact that only one item out of the many things that are labeled is really pushing an agenda on the OPs part that has been already discussed multiple times and in multiple threads. There is simply no need to keep going at these subjects when the OP has already been told the develpoers are working on it (if it is even possible). Besides the lack of a response shows full well the OP knew who the figures were as this is the 2nd and possibly the 3rd thread she started on the same subject.. so your apology is accepted. ;)

the one item was just an example. there are many many items that i click on when I try and shop and they aren't marked as being genesis until I click on them and read the blurb on the next page.

I didn't know the developers are working on asking product makers to mark all their products as genesis. I don't think that is a developer thing. I think you are talking about my request to have a different what's new category that just shows poser stuff. that is a different request.

It was mentioned several times especially in the threads you have already participated in, though to be honest I don't think it's going to be all that easy. If it took about a year for DAZ to do metadata, it's going to be a while here because of there are quite more items here. But honestly most of the items you are complaining are marked and have been for some time now.

It is very easy for promo makers to mark their promos with a little G3. That would be a really helpful thing. This is what I'm asking for in this thread. Although you say this is already happening it is actually not in a lot of cases. In the other thread I am asking for a poser what's new section. OK?

If you click on the "what's new" section, you will now see a drop down to the right where you can select all programs, Daz Studio, or Poser.

We are still working on some things however at least this is a start in the right direction.

It's nice that you now have this feature, though it will have no effect on poser content sales that's why the store has the content it has now. So my suggestion is no more of these threads as I think it's wasting the developers time. Honestly this site needs to focus on tutorials and new user sections for DAZ Studio users and stop slighting them, as that's where it's going... that is unless you want to end up in the same boat as RDNA.

Anything that will help the user is NOT wasting anyone's time. We are not slighting anyone and we are ALWAYS working on things to better user experience and members. This thread was not geared to one software or the other, you took it there and it needs to stop. Next post like the above will be deleted.

I use Poser only and with the myriad of characters out there can't tell genesis from non-genesis at the glance of a promo. It helps to be only shown items that work on the software I'm currently using and hence are the items I can buy.

At this point Renderosity is probably correct to add more Genesis and Daz content. I just don't use it.

I like Carrara, but it isn't particularly well supported.
