Does anyone know when Poser 12 can be expected to be released?

Really? I haven't heard any significant rumors as of yet, and I probably wouldn't see any new versions until next year at the least. I was under the impression that P11 and PP11 would be it with regular updates.

Well I was just wondering if it's worth waiting for 12 instead of buying the 11 upgrade now.

I agree with hborre about not seeing a new version until next year, and probably late in the year at that.

Poser hasn't done new versions every year, and IIRC, it's usually at least every other year, and since P11/PP11 came out toward the end of last year, I wouldn't expect a newer version until this time next year at the earliest.

The thing with the current upgrade offer is that any version even the non Pro versions can get you Poser Pro 11 for the $99 deal. So that when Poser 12 does come out it will be less of an upgrade cost.
