Subject: Installing my Poser content on another drive other than the C Drive

I have a 120gig SSD drive and want to install Poser content on my E drive since I have lots more space on that drive . Is there a tutorial available I can view to setup my inventory on the E drive. Thanks

I can give you a step by step .....

  1. Unzip your item to a folder on your E drive. Unless it's a freebie,All Renderosity Files are guaranteed to unzip into a fully functional runtime.
  2. Open Poser. Go to the Library pallet
  3. Cilck the Runtime Adder Buton... on Poser 11 it looks like this.... newAdder.PNG In Poser 10 and older, it looks like this....
    oldAdder.PNG
  4. Navigate to the folder you made on your e Drive.

The New runtime is instantly available and you can start using it right away!

Happy Rendering

Thank you for the quick response Andy...I will give it a try later. Just one more thing if you know that answer. I also use Daz3d and if I buy a Daz product on Renderosity, is there a quick way to install it..I had problems in the past: that's why I ask.

you have to find your DAZ Library... once that's done, unzip the new toys into that folder!

To find the DAZ library (DS shows you two... you want the one that had the Genesis folks in People) Right click on the correct library and choose Browse to Folder Location. THIS is where the contents (not the zip file but the stuff inside it) needs to go!
