So I recently updated my poser (poser 11) and I used to be able to click on anything in the library and it would enlarge so I could better see what the picture was. But now when I click on things in my library they don't do anything (one click not double click). Is there a way to change it back to how it was?

I'm unsure what the problem is, so I'll throw out two ideas to try.

[1] Click the elipsis ( ... ) near the bottom of the library; this will expand the library option palette.

[2] Click the tree tab.

[3] Slide the thumbnail size slider rightward.

Now do likewise for the details tab.

Seach, if the OP has the same problem I have ... those sliders do NOTHING. the size stays the same no matter what. A small thing. I was going through some other issues (not with Poser) when this first occurred and didn't report it at the time.

It does work in the detail panel though.

Ah! You're looking at the List; try the slider in the List tab.

Note: Thumbs will only enlarge to their native size, so test this on an area of the library which has large thumbs (Atlantis, in props, e.g.)

Sorry seach, did the same with your wonderful "Atlantis" props. (really, anyone reading this ... grab it up in free stuff, it's amazing!!)

Hmmm... I can move the List thumb size slider and see the thumbnail sizes change in real time. So we have a discrepancy in behavior here.

My set-up is the same as yours, except I'm running Win 10-64 bit. This has been an issue for a couple of months. I assume the OP has tried the standard procedures (although assuming can get one in a load of trouble!).

I'm getting the impression there is confusion here. Only the tree shows selected items and other items differently, and the tree only shows folders if you're displaying the items in the item List.

The slider to adjust Selected Thumbnail Size in the Tree tab is JUST for the tree. You cannot affect the List item nor the Detail item in the Tree tab controls.

If you're using the extended details panel, then you should not even want the tree to display the selected item in a different size, as it will be displayed large in the details panel. How large is controlled by the Max Image Size slider in the Details tab.

Again, if you're showing items in the Item List panel, then the Tree item size sliders are NOT ENGAGED - the tree does not display "items" in this mode, ever, selected or not. When the Item List panel is visible, the tree is only displaying folders, not items.

Now that, hopefully, we understand which sliders affect what panels, there remains the question: are my sliders working right?

When I change the sliders the appropriate items change size for me in real time. By appropriate, I mean that the Tree sliders update the Tree Items, not the Tree Folders, not List Items nor Folders, and not Details. The List sliders update the List, both Items and Folders. The Detail slider updates the Detail.

Boni - here you are changing the Tree sliders and expecting the Item List Panel to react. That isn't how it works.

Always willing to accept an error on my part ... But, I was sure there was an adjustment to enlarge the icons on the side panel view, I had done it before ... or maybe it was just I had adjusted the IU for a long time to 125 or 112 percent and was expecting something different. I differ and am willing to walk around with egg on my face. Thank you bb, a lesson well learned!
